The Man with a Box

The lonely man runs around time and space

An ageless, rebel god without a home

Running from his fate is his endless race

For thousands of years the mad man will roam

Silence will fall when the question is asked

This chapter of his story will then close

With fear behind him and new purpose tasked

Away in the blue box with grandiose

The sad man must learn that everyone dies

All his friends eventually leave his side

“Don’t be alone” his departed wife cries

“I am never alone” the sad man lied

Away the mad man flies to adventure

With his companion for a joint venture
